The standard booking deposit is 30% of the total reservation value, with a minimum deposit equal to one night’s booked accommodation rate.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
How cancellations, no-shows and refunds work.
This policy applies to direct bookings unless a different rate-specific policy was clearly disclosed and accepted before booking. Last updated: 27 August 2026.
Cancellation is free when received more than 120 hours before the scheduled check-in time. If no different check-in time is stated, the reference time is 14:00 Georgia local time on the arrival date. All accommodation payments received for the cancelled reservation are refundable.
If cancellation is received 120 hours or less before check-in, a charge equal to one night’s booked accommodation rate applies. Payments already received are credited toward that charge. Any amount paid above the applicable charge is refundable.
A no-show is charged at 50% of the reservation value. Amounts already paid are credited toward that charge and any excess is refunded. Where the charge exceeds what has been paid, the difference remains payable to the extent permitted by applicable law and the agreed payment arrangement.
After check-in, a guest who voluntarily shortens the stay or leaves early is not automatically entitled to a refund for unused nights. This does not affect remedies that may apply if DCG materially fails to provide the agreed accommodation service.
Stays of four nights or more are discounted 10%, on a garden cottage and a seaside cottage alike. If a discounted reservation is later shortened so that it no longer qualifies, the accommodation price may be recalculated using the rate applicable to the revised stay.
DCG will initiate an approved refund within 3 working days after approval. After we initiate the refund, the time required for it to appear depends on the card network, payment provider, receiving bank and/or issuing bank.
The refund route is chosen by us and our accounting team as whichever traceable method is most practical for the payment you made - usually back to the card it came from, sometimes a bank transfer, sometimes another traceable route available to us. Where applicable law, a bank, a card scheme or the payment provider requires a particular method, that method is used. We may ask you for accurate bank or payment details, and we will not choose a method that puts an unreasonable cost on you. Refunds are made in Georgian lari; if your card or account is held in another currency, your own bank's conversion and any fees apply.
Guests should report material problems promptly during the stay and reasonably allow DCG an opportunity to inspect and resolve them. Possible remedies may include repair, replacement, relocation, price adjustment, partial refund or refund for affected accommodation where appropriate.
Depending on availability and circumstances, DCG may offer: an equivalent cottage. an upgrade. alternative dates with the guest’s agreement; or. a refund for accommodation DCG cannot provide.
Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and other third-party platforms may apply their own cancellation and refund rules to platform transactions.
Under applicable Georgian consumer law, the general 14-day distance-contract withdrawal right does not apply to date-specific accommodation other than for residential purposes. The cancellation rules accepted at booking therefore govern direct date-specific accommodation reservations, without limiting other mandatory rights.
