Swap a rushed resort break for pine lanes, dark-sand beach mornings and easy family day trips—then build the price from real dates, not a vague promise that an entire country is always cheap.

Why Ureki works as a different kind of break

Batumi is lively; Ureki is the quieter base. The beach and cottage can carry the slow days, while Shekvetili, Kolkheti, Batumi and Gurian food become optional chapters rather than daily obligations.

For families, the useful selling point is control: a kitchenette, outdoor space and the option to rest at midday. For couples, it is the ability to alternate a city or nature day with a quiet coast day.

  • April–May: green landscapes and lighter crowds; sea swimming may be cool.
  • June–mid-September: main Ureki beach season, with peak demand in July–August.
  • September–October: calmer coast, warm spells and strong day-trip weather.
  • Winter: quiet coast; add skiing only as a separate mountain stay.

A dated food-cost snapshot—not a promise

Crowd-sourced Numbeo snapshots from June 2026 list a casual Batumi restaurant meal at about 25 GEL and a mid-range meal for two at about 80 GEL. The Israel country snapshot lists about 80 ILS and 306 ILS respectively.

Using the National Bank of Georgia's indicative rate available on 10 August 2026, those Batumi examples were roughly 29 ILS and 92 ILS. This is a directional restaurant comparison only: neighbourhood, season, exchange provider, portions and restaurant style change the result.

Useful package shapes

A package should describe what it includes instead of hiding behind a label. Ask for one of these shapes, then price it for your actual dates.

  • Quiet Coast: cottage stay, arrival transfer option and mostly local beach days.
  • Family Parks: cottage stay plus a Shekvetili day and flexible Batumi option.
  • Nature North: cottage stay plus a reserved Kolkheti/Paliastomi day, weather permitting.
  • Sea + City: Ureki base with one Batumi driver day and free beach time.
  • Winter Split: coastal stay plus a separate mountain base—never a daily ski commute from Ureki.
